We are so excited to announce the availability of one of the finest coffee beans we have ever had: the Don Pachi Geisha Natural from Panama. Geisha beans have been awarded one of the highest scores in the history of the SCAP Best of Panama competition; also receiving one of the highest auction prices of $111.50 per pound.
The Geisha, an Ethiopian heirloom variety, is a rare and revered jewel. The tree grows very tall with elongated leaves and cherries. It was first delivered to the Boquete region of Panama by Francisco “Don Pachi” Serracin in 1963, and this is where the full potential of this different coffee seed found its new home and small group of growers who had the passion to bring out its superb qualities.
It's a delicate cup, sparkling with citrus sweetness. Clean and crisp, with a smooth semi sweet chocolate body, and a long, complex finish. A coffee unlike any other.
The Geisha variety distinguishes itself as one of the world's most unique coffees. Be prepared for an uncommon coffee drinking experience.
